Equine & Canine Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a 3,000 year-old healing technique and a key component of traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are inserted into the body at key points for healing.  These points stimulate the central nervous system which releases chemicals into the muscles and tissues stimulating the body’s natural healing abilities and promoting physical and emotional wellbeing.

When energy is balanced in the body (yin and yang), the body is healthy.  However, if the flow of energy gets blocked, the disruption can lead to pain, lack of function, or illness.  Acupuncture therapy can release blocked energy in the body and stimulate function.

Animals can benefit greatly from this relatively gentle form of healing including pain relief, restoration of function such as vision, hearing, proper elimination, ability to process nutrition, increased energy, and healing of wounds, sprains, and tendon issues among other things.

Gail Hromadko is a certified animal acupuncturist and has been in practice for several years.  While she is not a veterinarian, her acupuncture services can sometimes alleviate the need for veterinary care or act as an adjunct healing force.  For more information or to schedule an appointment call or text Gail at 760-808-4975.
